SOUTH SEAS ISLAND TENNIS RESORT REVIEW
A great environment surrounding what would also be a phenomenal tennis experience during your stay at South Seas. A 2½-mile-long beach of sand that lines one side of the resort is known as one of the world’s best shelling beaches for those of you that enjoy collecting.
If you are a golfer then you will be very satisfied with the 9-hole course that is part of the property, however, if you would like to play a full 18, then you can slip over to the gorgeous island of Sanibel and play the Dunes course.
This is a real treat, not only do you get to see the beautiful Sanibel island on your way in, but you get to play a highly rated 18-hole course as well!
There is a plethora of activities for adults and for kids when it comes to the South Seas Resort and the area at large. Spa treatments are available that include facials, massages, and wraps. There is a fitness center that is located near the tennis facilities if you are looking for an off-court workout.
You can also take advantage of sailing programs at the Colgate Sailing School and sign-up for individual instruction and sailing lessons that will teach you the ins-and-outs of a sailor’s life. A great experience that you should definitely take advantage of if you can.
As you would expect from a resort of this magnitude selection is key. Each villa comes fully equipped with kitchens and balcony access, and range in price from $169 a night (for the tennis villas) all the way up to $529 for their ‘Lands End’ condo option for the discriminating customer that really wants to experience luxury at its finest – the ‘Lands End’ is upwards of 3400 square feet of space, and ideal for those wishing for a longer term stay replete with all the comforts of home.
