Elbow Braces with Compression Pad
Tennis elbow is an unfortunate reality for many of us tennis freaks – unless you use the right equipment. You’ll hardly see any regular player suffering from tennis elbow, playing without a good brace these days, but how do you know which braces are best?
The only thing you can judge in a single game when it comes to elbow braces is comfort, so we opted to instead go for a more in-depth approach.
We used these braces over a period of two weeks. Many of the tennis racquet reviews we have done recently were done while wearing these braces. Let’s see what we found out.
E-Fit Tennis Elbow Training Aid: Comfort
One thing which surprised us a lot was how versatile these braces are when it comes to fit. Usually you have to test different elbow braces before buying, because you need to buy braces that fit in with your arm size.
These braces use a Velcro strap and can be adjusted as required.
This meant that all our testers were able to find a sweetspot where the braces felt completely comfortable for them. E-Fit used breathable materials while constructing these braces and you can feel the difference that it makes.
We never felt that sweat was being collected under the brace – a problem with some other braces we have tested – as airflow was not restricted to the skin below the brace.
E-Fit Tennis Elbow Training Aid: Freedom of Movement
This was the most surprising area for us; these are some of the most unrestrictive braces we have tested. We think a lot of the credit goes to the straps here. While the materials the brace is made of are breathable and soft, the straps allow you to adjust the braces just the way you want.
This meant that all our testers had the braces in slightly different positions, because they all chose the positions which allowed them the most movement.
You may feel a bit of a restriction of movement when you begin playing, but just looses the straps a bit and readjust the brace slightly so it’s more comfortable, and your problem will be solved.
E-Fit Tennis Elbow Training Aid: Durability
Two weeks isn’t really enough to test the long term durability of the product, but we were impressed nonetheless.
Generally low quality braces already start showing cracks and discoloration at this point, something which we did not see at all in E-Fit’s elbow braces.
E-Fit Tennis Elbow Training Aid: Pain Relief
None of us had a bad case of tennis elbow when we started using E-Fit’s Elbow Braces, but some of us did have a bit of a discomfort in our arms. The use of the braces had a significant impact on our arms, and our elbows no longer felt as tense as they did previously.
Overall, we think E-fit has done a great job here. The durability and comfort of these braces means that you’ll end up using these for a long time.
