The Adidas adizero Feather III
The first thing you see when you look at these shoes is ‘wow’. Adidas threw away all subtlety when it came to designing this shoe and we love it. The Adidas Adizero Feather III is, simply put, one of the most unique designs we have seen in a tennis shoe. The front part of the shoe is covered in a rubber mesh and the color below it shines through marking a unique design element.
It immediately sets itself apart from other tennis shoes and you will get a lot of compliments as well as questions when you hit the courts wearing the Adidas Adizero Feather III.
In our opinion the design shines the best in the blue/orange combination but the other color combinations work well enough so that it is totally a personal choice.
Let’s see if these great looking shoes are just as good when it comes to performing on the court.
One of the first things we noticed was that the Adidas Adizero Feather III felt comfortable the first time they were worn by our reviewers. You don’t need a break-in period with the Feather III; they feel fantastic from the first step.
The reason we were so surprised at the fantastic feel, is due to the lack of cushioning in the shoe and its lightweight desing.
Usually bigger shoes use a lot of cushioning to make the shoe fit on your feet comfortably. The Feather III is a lightweight shoe (As the name implies) and thus it has no room for heavy cushioning.
The comfortable fit of the shoe is achieved through fantastic design of the shoe itself. Adidas’ design team outdid themselves by making the shoe feel comfortable and light at the same time.
How Does It Feel?
You wear the Feather III and you immediately just want to step onto the court and start playing. People had complaints with the Feather II’s when it came to fit and we are glad to see that Adidas has fixed the problems in this version.
That is because of two things which this shoe does well; it has enough ventilation that there is actual airflow inside the show, then it also has vents to take out the heat when you put your foot down.
The shoes also did well when it came to traction and support. You can confidently make quick turns and moves and the shoe will help you stop your feet right where you want them to stop.
The light weight and the good traction combine to make this shoe a choice that you will want to play in for a long time.
You’ll feel freer than before because these shoes do not constrict you in any way. You get proper arch support, good ventilation, a perfect fit, and high durability.
The fresh eye catching design is just a cherry on top which makes this a great package for tennis players of all types, although the color schemes may skew a little bit younger.
